Application procedure

How do I know which positions are currently available?
The available positions will be advertised in national newspapers, in local media and/or job fairs. In addition, you will also find our vacancies on our website under "Career".

Can I also submit an unsolicited application?

Yes, we also accept unsolicited applications. In these cases, please let us know your interests and your desired position. Furthermore, we also require a declaration of consent for the data to be processed electronically.

How do I apply?

What should I include in my application?
In order for us to obtain an accurate portrayal of your interests and abilities, we require all of your application documents including a cover letter, resume and references. Your salary requirements and possible starting date would be appreciated as additional information. Interns, graduandtes and apprentices are required to specify the planned period of the internship, thesis or the date at which training is to start.

What is the candidate selection process like at ATLANTIC?
The applications we receive are initially forwarded to the respective department. For advertised positions you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt and we will also let you know if we would like to meet you personally. Unsolicited applications are incorporated in our career database.

We educate. What training opportunities does ATLANTIC offer?
We offer training for the following positions:
•    Industrial sales representative
•    Electronics engineer
•    Industrial mechanic
At what point does training start at ATLANTIC and how long is the training period?

Training begins in August each year. The duration of the training period for an industrial sales representative depends on preliminary qualifications and can be between two, two and a half, or three years. The training period for the industrial professions is three and a half years.

What requirements do I need to fulfil?
In the commercial sector, we expect you to have attended commercial college for two years or have completed your A levels. For apprenticeships as an electronics engineer and industrial mechanic we expect a high-school diploma.

When is the right time to apply for an apprenticeship?
Ideally, you should apply around 9 to 12 months before training is due to commence, i.e. no later than November of the previous year.

What is the selection process like for apprentices?
We conduct a written test. After this you will complete a two-week internship.

What prospects do I have after completing my training?
We provide training in order to attract skilled employees and executive personnel to our company. Wherever possible, we offer a continuing employment relationship for our apprentices.
